Joann M. Owens

Joann Marie Owens, 59 of Warwick formerly of Springfield Missouri passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at her daughter’s home.

Joann, daughter of Thomas L. Hamilton and Patricia Leone was born on October 7, 1965 in Pennsylvania. Joann was a free spirit who loved her Harley’s and taking care of people. He home was a one stop shop for anyone in need. She never turned away even a stranger in need. Due to increasing health problems, she recently moved to Warwick to be in the care of her daughter, son-in-law Josh and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Joann was preceded in death by her father Thomas L. Hamilton, soulmate Michael Lee “Milo” Owens, two grandchildren Neo Anderson Melane and Pjournn Walter, lifelong friends Alan Shive, Bob and Rita Angel Mountain.

She leaves behind five children Richard Cassel of Dexter, MO, Tiffany Hasty and Miranda O’Haver of Springfield, MO, Jessica Walter and husband Josh and Zane Nishimoto of Warwick, ND; seven grandchildren Michael, Zayvon (Franklin), Lillianna, Trinity, Preston, Torvi and Milo; She also leaves behind her brothers Tim Hamilton and Tom Hamilton; her mother Patricia Leone; friends who became family, Carrie, Dave and Glenn.

Joann was a mother and friends to any and all who crossed paths with her. She will be missed by so many.
