Katherine “Kathy” A. Lenoir, 33 continued on her Spiritual journey on Monday, March 7, 2022 when found in Devils Lake.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and time of remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza.
Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Katherine Amelia Pauline, was born on June 13, 1988 in Devils Lake, the youngest of six children born to Paulette (Yankton) and Jerry Lenoir Sr. She grew up on the Spirit Lake Nation and attended school in Warwick, graduating from Warwick High School with the class of 2006. She worked for a time at the Elderly Center and most recently for Spirit Lake Grocery.
Kathy always loved and cared for her friends, family and especially her nieces and nephews. She loved her children so much and made sure they always knew that. We will all miss her spontaneous, outgoing and caring heart.
Kathy’s loving family include her two precious children Katieann Mary Rose Lenoir and Everett Thompson Jr. and her angel baby Angel Quinn Lenoir; her beloved parents Paulette and Jerry, brothers John Lenoir, Jerry (Rose) Lenoir Jr., James “Jim” Lenoir and Jacob (Christina) Lenoir; her only sister Annette Lenoir; many dear aunties and uncles; her many nieces and nephews Jerry Lenoir III, Jerison Lenoir, Jason Lenoir, Wendell Lenoir, William Lenoir, Amarye Lenoir, Addison Lenoir, Jaxon Lenoir, Jiannis Lenoir, Sophia Lenoir, Jaylee Lenoir, Torrance Lenoir and Kaydance Lenoir; godparents Jerry and Rose Lenoir Jr.; godchild Jenson Lenoir; her only grandmother Helena Littleghost.
She will be reunited with her son Angel Quinn, grandmothers Pauline Graywater, Amelia Lenoir, Elaine Robertson, Elizabeth Littleghost; grandfathers James Yankton Sr., Michael Graywater Sr., John B. Lenoir and many uncles and aunts.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Lenoir Jr., John Lenoir, James Lenoir, Jacob Lenoir, Jerry Lenoir III and Wendell Lenoir. Honorary Bearers will be Clarice and Jose Lawrence, Celeste Herman, Andrea and Roger Ironshield, Valerie and Lawrence Bull, Jackie Yankton, Roger Yankton, Quentin Yankton, James Jr. and Kathy Yankton, James “Bimbo” Lenoir, Joel and Wanda Lenoir, Jeff Lenoir Sr., Lee Lenoir, Leroy Lenoir, Michelle “Mickey” and Roger Thompson, Joann and Bradley Johnson, Sharon Tester, Mary Monette, Jackie Lenoir.
