Kimberlee Ann Redroad, daughter of Russel Redroad and Trudy Herald was born on May 12, 1970 at Devils Lake ND. She grew up in the Fort Totten/St. Michael area, attending school at the Little Flower Mission School at St. Michael and also Four Winds School. She worked hard and proudly earned her GED through Little Hoop Community College.
Kimberlee worked for a time at Sioux Manufacturing, Dakota Tribal Industries and most recently had worked at the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort.
Kimberlee wanted everyday to be a happy day, a day to have a good time, a day to enjoy time with family and friends. She had a lively, upbeat personality; liked to joke and tease, loved spending good times with friends, meeting old friends and making new friends at BINGO, treasured her family. In her younger days, she loved to playing softball.
Kimberlee knew in her heart the unconditional love and the support of her family through every hardship, through the good times and the bad times. She felt so blessed to have such a beautiful family.
Kimberlee is survived by her loving family. Her children Troy Woods Jr., Colorado, Britney Redroad Mudgett (Ean) of Devils Lake; her grandchildren Raven, Isiah, Charly, Jade and Mila Poitra; sisters Robyn Ferguson of St. Michael and Candice (Roger) McKay of Woodlake ND; many beloved aunts and uncles from the Herald family, Littleghost family, Redroad family, Leftbear family and Blueshield family and treasured nieces, nephews and cousins.
Those who left this world before her include her parents, grandparent, special friend Troy Woods Sr. and many other dear relatives.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Sunday, January 3, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. and visitation ending at 8:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. from City Plaza.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Burial will be at a later date.
Casket Bearers will be Alec Yankton, Jerrit Smith, RaShawn Thompson, Dusty Joshua, Roger McKay, Delwyn Littlewind, Blaine Leftbear and Lanny Leftbear. Honorary Bearers are Jeanette Herald, James and Mary Thompson, Robyn Ferguson and Family, Candice McKay, Troy Woods Jr., Debra Herald, Delbert Herald, Jenni Spotted Elk and all of Kimberlee’s family and many dear friends.
