Kristal Lee Robertson

Kristal Lee Robertson, 45 of St. Michael ND passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital.

Kristal was born September 27,1976 to Johanna and Ronald Hunt Sr. Kristal was the oldest of her three siblings Ronald Hunt Jr, Rustin Hunt, and Samantha Hunt.

Kristal attended school at Four Winds and later attended school in Minneapolis, MN (her middle school years) later returning to Four Winds (her High School years). She met her Sweet Heart Chad Keo Sr. and they would always meet up at “The Club” after school. During her High School years Kristal, her friends, and Cousins made a dance team and would dance at half time for the boys’ basketball games.

After years of dating Kristal and Chad welcomed their first child into the world Brandy. Later Brandon, Chad Jr., and Maddison would complete their family.

Kristal loved kids especially when they were babies. Kristal was adored by her nieces and nephews. She was always joking around with them, and she was like a mom to all her nieces and nephews when they were born. She loved to bathe them, dress them up, and fix their hair.

When Brandy welcomed Kristal’s first granddaughter into the world, Aleeha Whiteshield, Kristal was happy to have another baby in her life to help take care of and spoil. Brandy and Maddy both brought four more grandchildren into Kristal’s life, Alvin Jr., Laila Moon, Nicole, and Addison.

Kristal was best known for being funny, brave, stylish, and beautiful. She did a lot of crazy things that her friends and cousin would ask her to do. Whenever you saw her, you couldn’t help but smile because you would remember something crazy, she said or did or what she might say or do. Kristal also played softball with her mother, sister, and younger cousins. She was a pitcher and first baseman. A knee injury would prevent her from continuing to play. She still attended games and watched. She loved listening to music and one of her favorite songs were “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” by Cindi Lopper. She played it so much that even her grandkids knew her favorite song. She also enjoyed, R.E.O, Speed Wagon, and various 80’s Rock bands. All the younger girls admired her cool Do’s and make-up.

Kristal was very close with all her cousins. In her later years Kristal loved keeping busy, home decorating, raising kids, visiting friends online and just being her silly self. Everyone envied her style, personality, and the way she kept her home. Every woman on Spirit Lake that knew Kristal would go see the latest clothes, jewelry, or home décor. She would sell or trade home décor and that’s why she had the nicest things of all.

Kristal created a lot of great memories for her loved ones which is why she will be greatly missed and forever loved for those memories that will live on in our hearts.
