Kyle Jade Littleghost Redroad, 19 of St. Michael, ND passed away due to injuries sustained in a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident on Sunday, January 5, 2020.
Kyle Jade was born in Devils Lake on October 7, 2000, the son of Kevin Redroad and Dina Littleghost. Kyle came into the Brown family when he was 13 months old and made his home with them in the St. Michael area.
Kyle attended Warwick Public School and was a Senior at Four Winds High School, planning to graduate with the class of 2020. He was a member of the Warwick basketball team and was also a cross country runner. He also played on an independent softball team and participated in many rodeos as a bull rider. His favorite sport was basketball and he would be playing basketball every chance he could. He was always on the move. He loved to hang out with his friends, and when spending time with family he was watching his favorite movies “Cowboy Up” and “Polar Express”. He enjoyed drawing and faithfully followed the University of Kentucky basketball team on TV. He loved being a part of a large, loving family and enjoyed cooking for them and also helped to care for the younger foster children of the Brown family.
Kyle felt truly blessed to have three families that cared about him and always wanted the best for him.
Kyle is survived by his father Kevin Redroad; grandpa Leroy Littleghost; his foster family-Carol Brown, Carol “Nibs” Brown II, Cameron Laducer, Bethany Brown, Candice Brown, Asher Meade, Cordelle Gourd, Jaydean Cavanaugh and Victoria WhiteTail; his siblings Illissa Joshua, Brooke, LaTrell, Kate, Journey and Nicholas Redroad, Welden Littleghost, Toddrah Cameron and Durius Littleghost and many other family supporters.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dina, foster grandpa Ermen Brown Sr., grandparents Donald and Joanne Redroad and Priscilla Touche.
Casket Bearers for Kyle will be Cameron Laducer, Gary Feather, Paul Thiele, Jackson Delorme, Eric Belgarde, Zachary Littlewind and LaTrell Redroad. Honorary Bearers are the Class of 2020 and Kyle’s dear friends. Reading Scriptures will be Ermen Brown Jr.
Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service and time of remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery at a later date.
