Lachlan T. Hoeger

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt ND for Lachlan.

Lachlan Tobias Hoeger, age 23 days, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Children’s Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.

Lachlan was born Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:57 am to parents Brianna Johanson and Gerald Hoeger at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. He was baptized by Reverend Christopher Lillehei on January 11^th.

Lachlan lived a memorable three weeks surrounded by loving family. He loved holding hands and loved hearing mommy, daddy, and big brother talk to him. During Lachlan’s short life, he faced health conditions including a complex congenital heart defect and an omphalocele. Lachlan didn’t let his conditions get to him and he was a little warrior until his very last day.

Lachlan is survived by his parents Gerald Hoeger and Brianna Johanson; brother Kaleb Hoeger; grandparents Jerard Hoeger, Sherry Hoeger, Troy Johanson, and Michelle Johanson; great grandparents Faye Peltier, Lyle Johanson, and Donna Olson; aunts, Jessirae Hoeger, Nikki Hoeger, Shaylee Grey, Caitlyn Counts, Cherista Counts, Chloee Counts, and Jessica Borstad; uncles Chad Counts and Andrew Hoeger; cousin Scarlett Hoeger; many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins also survive.

He was proceeded in death by great grandparents Gerald Hoeger, Harvey Poitra, Norma Johanson, and Karrol Olson.

Funeral services for Lachlan will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Lyle Belleque officiating. Visitation for family and friends to follow after funeral services.
