Lee Frank Harmon

Lee F. Harmon, 67 a life-long resident of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at CHI, St. Alexius Hospital, Devils Lake. 

Lee Frank, son of Charles and Blanche (Walford) Harmon was born on October 24, 1950 at Devils Lake, ND where he was reared and educated. He attended Devils Lake Public Schools and graduated from Devils Lake Central High School with the class of 1968.  Lee then began driving semi-truck for the Concrete Culvert Sectional Company at St. Michael, ND and continued employment with them for many years. 

The waters of Devils Lake eventually took over the family home and the concrete company so Lee worked at several other jobs, including working for area farmers and for the past several years has been a properties caretaker for Charles Studness.

Lee was a master woodworker, creating beautiful works of art from a plain piece of wood. He was always remodeling, fixing, improving things in the home he shared with his mother for many years.

Lee enjoyed hunting and fishing with his Dad in his younger years and since the death of his Dad, he had devoted himself to caring for his mother and visiting her every day.

Lee is survived by his loving mother Blanche Harmon, Devils Lake; his daughters Jennifer Bracken, Minneapolis, MN and Katie Nadeau, Devils Lake; grandchildren Shanae Bracken, Fargo, Keli (Jason) Reardon, Bismarck, Jared Nadeau, Mesa, AZ and Emily Nadeau, Devils Lake; brother Glenn Harmon, Mandan; sister Gail (Bill) Biby, Fargo and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; sister Virginia “Ginny” Harmon; grandparents Frank and Kathryn Walford and George and Annie Harmon.

Funeral Services for Lee will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake, ND with Jeff Deckert officiating. Burial will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will held on Thursday, October 25^th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Music will be provided by Theresa Deckert and Joseph Deckert.
