Leora Faye Nahinurk

Leora Faye Nahinurk unexpectedly passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was 62. Leora was born on August 31, 1954 in Bismarck, ND to her parents Victor and Hildegard (Zoller) Eberhart. She graduated from Minnewaukan High School in 1973. She married Lee Nahinurk in 1977 and from that marriage she had two sons Kerry Nahinurk of Dickinson and Chad Nahinurk of Devils Lake. She was really proud of her granddaughter Rain Selest Nahinurk. Leora sold Avon and received many awards. She loved to volunteer and help others and played dice regularly with her friends. Leora was a cat lover, enjoyed traveling and loved to cook. Leora is survived by her sons and granddaughter; father Victor Eberhart-Bismarck; two brothers and two sisters Lance Eberhart-Rapid City, SD, Leigh (Deb) Eberhart-Brooklyn Park, MN, LaVal (Rocky Hefty) Eberhart- Bismarck, Loris Fredrick-Bismarck and numerous nieces and nephews and many dear relatives and friends. Leora was preceded in death by her mother Hildegard and brother-in-law Dean Fredrick. Casket Bearers for Leora will be Kerry, Chad, Curtis and Jeremy Nahinurk and Lance and Leigh Eberhart. Leora will be buried at the Devils Lake Cemetery following her service at First United Methodist Church, Devils Lake on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Lori Broschat officiating. Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and will continue on Thursday at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
