Linda Lou LaCroix, 68 of Moorhead MN passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at her home.
Linda Lou, the daughter of Leroy and Marie (Lohnes) LaCroix was born on April 3, 1956 in Moorhead. She spent her younger years in the Fargo/Moorhead area, Ulen. MN and went to high school in Hitterdal, MN graduating from Hitterdal High School.
She was the proud mother of Wally LaCroix, and after meeting Wendel Decoteau they welcomed Angela and Brittany Decoteau to the family. The family was completed with the birth of Josh LaCroix.
She did live for a time on the Spirit Lake Nation and worked at Sioux Manufacturing Corporation. She eventually moved back to the Fargo/Moorhead area and worked at Marvin Windows for a time, but has spent the last few years caring for three of her grandchildren.
Increasing health issues limited Linda’s ability to be out and about, but she treasured anytime spent with family and friends. She loved her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews unconditionally and felt truly blessed to have them in her life.
She will be greatly missed by her children Wally LaCroix, Angela Decoteau, Brittany Decoteau and Josh LaCroix; grandchildren Gabriel, Whitney, Deja, Gabriella, Christopher and Christian; Tommy, Brianna and Khloe; Cashton, Draco, Bryson, Xaiden, Khaloni, Onyx and other precious grandchildren; sisters Brenda LaCroix Monson, Bonita LaCroix Miller and Debra Adams; brothers Timothy LaCroix, Vincent LaCroix, David LaCroix and Robert LaCroix; long time partner and special friend James Shaw; several dear nieces, nephews and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy LaCroix; sisters Sharon Lohnes and Janice Belgarde and her grandparents, aunts, uncles.
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor even touched, but just felt in the heart. That was our Linda.
