Linda Lorraine Zettler

Linda Zettler, 60 of Devils Lake joined her parents in Heaven on Wednesday April 16th, 2025 at CHI St. Alexis Hospital surrounded by her family.

Linda Lorraine Zettler was born December 20th 1964 in Devils Lake, ND. She was the daughter of Richard and Darlene (Brininger) Zettler.

Linda grew up at home with her loving parents, brother and 4 sisters. She enjoyed the busyness of the household and the love that was poured upon her all her life from family, friends and all that came in contact with her. She may not have been physically able to help with things but she was said to be the boss. She wasn't a tv watcher but rather watch the young ones in the house. She especially loved having a baby around. Teased often about how smiley she got when there was a male in the house other than her father and brother, especially her brothers-in-law.

She was limited by her physical body but she knew what was going on and some would say we all would be in trouble if she could talk. She touched hearts and blessed everyone who saw her with her big smile and doe eyes. She enjoyed anything Snoopy, dolls and her snow globes. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her siblings: Terrance Zettler, Marie Bryant, Bonita (David) Hoffart, Wanda Zettler and Angela McEwan. Aunts: Janice Keller, Phyllis Eback, Jeannie Brininger and Karen Brininger: many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Darlene Zettler, her grandparents Florence and Earl Brininger, and Benjamin and Myrtle Zettler, siblings Ricky Zettler and Lisa Zettler, brother-in-law Quinton McEwan, aunts Janice Brininger and Doris Hoffart, uncles Lester Brininger, Wayne Brininger, Leo Hoffart, Floyd Keller, and Tony Eback.

Visitation will be held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Reverend Bernard Pfau celebrating the Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Fellowship will be held at the Parish Center following the services.
