Linnea L. Krueger

Linnea Lois (Little) Krueger, 59 of Devils Lake, North Dakota, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Eventide Care Center.

Funeral Services for Linnea will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake ND at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Mr. Ken Severinson, Deacon officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.

Linnea, daughter of Richard and Lois (Gable) Little of Bottineau, North Dakota was born on September 26, 1962. She graduated Bottineau High School in 1980. She received her Associate’s degree from NDSU Bottineau branch in 1982. In 1988 she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Minot State University.

Linnea was united in marriage to Huck Krueger on March 3, 1990, and they lived and worked in Cando, ND until they moved to Devils lake in 2000. In 2005 she and her husband purchased a house and made Devils Lake their permanent home.

Linnea valued family time at home and was a very caring person. She enjoyed reading and doing trivia and Sudoku puzzles. She was quick-witted and could come up with a joke on the spot.

She had also made countless friends at college and at her various jobs. She always carried a smile and liked to joke with her coworkers. To spread cheerfulness, she and two of her friends had formed a fun singing trio called, “Better Together.” Linnea’s bright smile and love will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

Linnea is survived by her husband, Huck; her sister Linda (James) Bondly of Bottineau; her brother Robert (Nadine) Little of Bottineau; and her sister Diane (Tom) Rostvedt of Minot, ND; her sister-in-law Tani (Gene) Belle of Bowman, ND; her brother-in-law Daron (Lynette) Krueger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Huck’s parents Darol and Wanda Krueger of Sioux Falls, SD; and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Lois Little.
