They ranched side by side for over 60 years and Lula Mae continued to contribute to the ranching operation as much as possible even after Hank’s death on June 21, 2013. Lula Mae would proudly state many times, “Henry and I raised cattle and 4 great kids”.
Lula Mae was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church, Fort Totten and the Sheyenne VFW Auxiliary. As members of the Eagles Lodge, they loved to go dancing every Saturday night and spend time with family and dear friends. Lula Mae had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs, she loved helping with chores and baking favorite recipes for children and grandchildren.
