Michael Donovan Merle Brodell, 37 was called home to Heaven on March 19, 2022.
Michael Brodell, son of Friz and Ronna (Huhner) Brodell was born on November 6, 1984. He was raised on the family farm in rural Warwick and attended Dakota Prairie School, graduating with the class of 2003. He was a lifelong member of the Warwick Lutheran Church. Michael continued his education graduating from Lake Region State College and Bismarck State College with a Lineman Degree. He went on to work for Avenia for 11 years and for the rest of his life he worked for Gleason’s Construction and his brother Mitchell. He loved his job and the people he met along the way; he made many lifelong friends.
Michael with all his antics, stubbornness, and willing to argue about anything, had the biggest heart and wouldn’t hurt a fly. He loved to be busy and could not wait until he got his license like his big sister and brother so he could be on his way and never look back. He loved to travel-his very first plane ride was to Paraguay and did not stop at that. He traveled all over Europe and the United States doing and seeing many different things He had so many favorite things to do but to name a few; they were snowboarding, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, kayaking, whitewater rafting, gaming, hunting, fishing, arguing, and camping. He traveled all over to see family. It was nothing for him to get in his car and make a trip out of it, from the east coast to the west coast.
One of his favorite hobbies at home was to be gardening along with his sister. They spent many hours planning over the phone about what they were going to plant and where in the garden it would be placed. He always knew how to do everything the right way or the way it should be done and most of the time it would be hard to argue with. He always made sure to know as much as he could about everything. His other love was music whether he had his headphones on, his DeWalt speaker blaring everywhere he took it, rocking out to music in his vehicle or being at a concert with his brothers and his best friends. He always had to be front and center whether it was the mosh pit or bodysurfing, just being there would not do. He never did anything halfway. He would drop anything and everything to help someone in need, even if they didn’t know they needed it. He was the jack-of-all-trades and the master of none, but he sure did try, and we loved him for it.
Michael will be forever missed by his mother and father Ronna and Friz Brodell, his sister Melissa (Eric) Joramo, his brother Matthew (Kristin) Brodell, and his brother Mitchell (April) Brodell; niece Jordan Joramo; nephews Caden and Jaxson Joramo and Brecken Brodell; his two beloved dogs Falkor and Artax; grandmother Geraldine Brodell; grandfather Jerry Brodell; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and his best friend Kyle Ehlers.
He was preceded in death by his grandma and grandpa Temmie and Merle Huhner, uncle and aunt David and Kris Huhner and aunt Birdie Thomas.
Michael had the softest heart and lived his life like a bottle rocket and would love everyone to keep ROCKING ON!!
Funeral Services for Michael will be held on Friday, April 1st, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Warwick Lutheran Church.
