Michael Francis Little    "Unspe Makoce Wicasa"   (Knows the Earth Man)

Sunrise May 15, 1988 – Sunset January 9, 2025

 Loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend. Michael began his earthly journey on May 15, 1988 in Devils Lake, ND and began his spiritual journey on January 9, 2025 in Fargo, ND.

 The wake for Michael will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the St. Michael’s Wellness Center beginning at 5 PM. A prayer service and a time of remembrance at 7 PM with Reverend Paul Schuster and Father Moen. The procession to St. Michael’s Wellness Center will leave on Friday at 4 PM from the City Plaza, Devils Lake, ND. Mass of Christian Burial for Michael will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with Reverend Paul Schuster and Father Moen. Michael will be laid to rest at his mother Roberta’s residence. All singers/ drum groups are welcome to share their songs in memory of Michael.

 Michael Francis was the baby of the family and born to Robert Little SR and Roberta Littleghost on May 15, 1988 in Devils Lake, ND. Michael attended school at Warwick Public School and graduated with the class of 2007. This is where he made his lifelong friends with Cody Belgarde, Champ Delorme, and Douglas Lawrence. After high school he was blessed with three handsome sons: Michael JR, Weston, Skyler, and adopted son Tarren. Michael was our Mr. Fix it/ Handyman who could fix every and anything asked of him. He would take pride in whatever he did with fixing cars, homes, and lawn mowers. Michael was our lawn care person who cut everyone’s yard in the family and also anyone who asked him to help them with theirs. Michael worked at the Spirit Lake Housing along with his brothers JR and Joseph. He also worked at Monster Lawn Hydroseeding in Devils Lake, ND. Michael was a dad to all his nieces/nephews. Whenever he visited them on a daily basis, he had a joke or name to tease them. Everybody had a nickname. He would help every single one of them when they would call upon him no matter the time of day or night. Michael wouldn’t have a car but mom would take him to help one of them. If mom let him take the car, Michael would take off towards the mish and do his patrol as he would say. When he got home, he would call one of his siblings and say the mission was complete and everyone could rest for the night as it was secured.

 A special thank you to Lake Region Ambulance Service, Rodney Martin, All family and friends who showed up to help with the fire and dig his grave, Fargo Sanford- Life flight- Grand Forks ICU hospital doctors and nurses for trying their best to help save our baby. Our family would also like to thank everyone for their outpouring love and support during these last few difficult days. We appreciate all the people who came to our home and prayed for our baby.
