Graveside Services for Michael have been rescheduled for Thursday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harlow Cemetery.
Michael William Torgerson was born February 23, 1958 in Devils Lake North Dakota to George and Frances (Bjerke)Torgerson. He passed away on February 10, 2022 in Quartzsite Arizona.
Mike attended school in Devils Lake, North Dakota. He then entered the Navy and was honorably discharged. Throughout Mike’s life he had several jobs and was a general contractor.
He lived in Portland Oregon, and retired and moved to Arizona. Over the last year he was living the life of RVing and loved it. He traveled the United States visiting friends and family from the west to east coast with his two special pal's Scooter and Hopper (his dogs).
Mike had a very kind heart with a rough exterior for those of you that knew him. He would help you in any way he could. He was passionate about his Harley's . He worked hard, he played hard, and he left a trail of hilarious stories wherever he went. He was a man who had friends for life everywhere.
He is survived by his children Christopher Bell, Jennifer Bell, and Jason (Katie) Bell, grandchildren Christian Trogdon, Nova Bell, and Glyder Bell. Siblings Beth (Keith) Koch, Jean (Jeff) Hins, Janet (Darvin) Schlender, Dennis (Amber) Torgerson. Many nieces and nephews, and three very special friends Stan (Sue) Hansen and Joe Estes.
He is preceded in death by his parents George and Frances Torgerson, his brothers David Torgerson and George Ray Torgerson, and numerous aunts and uncles.
He said there was two of his friends that would never leave him, he loved them very much and
ironically they go with him today! Scooter and Hopper.
Mike, you will be truly missed!
Family and friends will gather at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Devils Lake ND on Friday, April 29, 2022 with a procession to the Harlow Cemetery for Graveside Services and Military Honors at 2:00 p.m.
