Michaela Sapphire TwoHearts

Michaela Sapphire TwoHearts, 34 of Fort Totten, ND and Colorado passed away at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Michaela Sapphire, precious daughter of Melissa TwoHearts was born on February 23, 1990, at Devils Lake. In her early years, she lived and was educated in Bismarck and Fargo ND.

Michaela eventually moved to Denver, CO with her Grandma Betty Fox. While in Colorado she earned her GED.

She loved people and her strong suit was customer service. She worked in a variety of fast-food restaurants while living in Colorado until health issues forced her to retire. She then moved back to the Spirit Lake Nation to be closer to her Mom.

Michaela had such a loving, caring heart. She treasured her family and opened her heart and home to her niece Laniya for several years.

We feel such sadness at the loss of our precious Michaela, but she will be forever loved and forever in our hearts.

Her loving family include her mother Melissa TwoHearts, grandmother who helped raise her, Betty Fox; brothers Darius Chaske and Quentin Helm-Chaske; sisters Waynita TwoHearts and Courtney TwoHearts; nieces and nephews Malaki, Aaliyah, Layla, Jaxson, Catalaya, Lilyana, Loveaya, Laniya and Loyalty; special uncle Joseph TwoHearts and aunts Karen TwoHearts, Rachel Kozak, Jonelle WalkingEagle, Roberta Brown, Lorenda TwoHearts and Sheila Stahlecker; grandparents Carol WalkingEagle, Pattie TwoHearts, Cathy TwoHearts, Rebecca TwoHearts, Cletus TwoHearts, Bernard TwoHearts Sr. and Isaac TwoHearts, cousins Cyndi Fox and Pamela Sanchez and many other dear cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister Wardena Helm, aunt Kelly Sanchez, cousin Samantha Sanchez and grandparents Julia TwoHearts, Walter Cavanaugh Sr., great grandparents Rachel (Smith) and Michael TwoHearts Sr.
