Misty Dawn Yali

Misty D. Yali, 37 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at CHI, St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND in the loving care of her family.

Funeral Services for Misty will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Devils Lake with Father Paul Schuster officiating. 
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at St. Michael's Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.

Misty Dawn, daughter of Twila Jane Lamrose and Donald Yali, Sr. was born on June 11, 1981 at Devils Lake, ND. She was raised and educated in Devils Lake, graduating from Four Winds High School with the class of 1999. Misty worked as a CNA at the Heartland Care Center and in Fargo. Most recently she worked at various jobs in the Lake Region area.

Misty was a single mother to 4 children and did her best to provide for them and to be a loving and supportive parent as they were growing up. There were challenges in Misty’s life, but she felt so very blessed to have the love and support of her family as she faced each trial and struggle that life brought. Misty’s life on this earth was short, but the many memories of happy times together will live in our hearts forever.

Misty is survived by her loving family. Her mother, Twila Jane Lamrose, Devils Lake; her sons Daylin St. Pierre, Grand Forks, Xavier Balboa, Moorhead, MN and Miguel Dunn, Devils Lake; daughter Patience Dunn, also Devils Lake; grandson Brayden; brothers Kevin (Renae) Yali, Crary and Donald “DJ” Yali Jr., Devils Lake; Sister Carla (Art) Carmona, St. Michael; uncles and aunts Frank Yali, John “Huntz” Yali, Sandra Miller, Tammie (Brent) Putnam, Elaine Robinson and Gail Nash and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Misty was preceded in death by her father Donald; grandparents Helen and Jacob Yali, Genevieve Jetty and Ambrose and Frances (Lohnes) Jetty; aunt Francine “Pinoch” Lamrose; uncle Tom Nash; great aunts Marie Baker, Beatrice Abrahamson and Doris Morin; great uncle David Jetty; nephew Daniel Yali.

Active Pallbearers will be Nick RunningBear, Lynn McKay, Eddie Green, Austin Lamrose, Colby Redday and D.J. Yali. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Misty’s many dear friends and relativies.
