Raeanne Jo Workman (Gleason)

Raeanne J. (Gleason) Workman, 56 of Devils Lake formerly of Hamar, ND passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at her home. 

Funeral Services for Raeanne Jo will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake, ND with Pastor Jeff Kapelle officiating. Burial will be in the Tolna Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Friday, July 27^th one hour prior to the funeral service. 

Raeanne Jo Gleason was born on April 21, 1962 at Devils Lake, ND the daughter of Eugene and Beverly (Thorson) Gleason. She grew up on the family farm at Hamar and attended Tolna Public School.  Raeanne graduated from Tolna High School and continued her education at Josef’s School of Hair Design in Fargo with emphasis on Cosmetology. 

Raeanne moved to Williston and worked at a beauty salon there. She met and married Ken Workman and they were the proud parents of a daughter, Sarah.  Eventually the family moved to Kalispell, Montana where they lived and worked through the years.  Raeanne moved to Oklahoma and for the past 10 years has called Devils Lake home. 

Raeanne loved flowers and plants, the outdoors and riding bike through the neighborhood, visiting with her friends.

Raeanne had struggles and challenges in her life, but she faced them with courage and determination. She never lost hope in winning those battles and felt truly blessed to have the love and support of her dear family and many friends in her life. 

Raeanne’s loving family include her daughter Sarah Workman of Kalispell, MT; Dad, Eugene Gleason of Hamar, ND; brothers Randy Gleason, Hamar, Carey (Micky) Gleason, Reiles Acres, ND and Troy Gleason also of Hamar; nieces and nephews Shayle Larson, Jordan and Reed Gleason and Darrin Gleason; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her Mom, Beverly, grandparents and great grandparents.
