Shandiin Rose GoodBird

Shandiin Rose GoodBird (19) went to be with our Heavenly Father, on Monday, January 15, 2018 in a fire in Alexandria, Minnesota. Shandiin Rose was born in GrandForks, ND on May 25, 1998. She was the first born twin (by five minutes) of twin girls, her sister's name is Nadean Brooke GoodBird (19) of Newtown, ND. She is the daughter of Dusti GoodBird and Floyd CrazyThunder. She has a brother, Dylane JosephLee GoodBird (18) of Devils Lake, ND, and two half siblings, Winona & George Aubid of McGregor, Minnesota.

 Shandiin started her first years in school in Edwin Loe Elementary in Bismarck, North Dakota. After moving back to Spirit Lake, she attended Minnewauken School, grades 1-4, then to Four Winds Community School, grades 5-10. Her Junior year, she went to Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon. Shandiin graduated from Four Winds Community School, the Class of 2016 with her twin sister Nadean. She was currently a student at Alexandria Technical College, in Fashion Design Management.

 During middle school, Shandiin was in the Gifted & Talented Program, Lego League, and Robotics Team. She played on the Varsity Basketball Team for Chemawa.

 Shandiin enjoyed a variety of music; HipHop, Classic Rock, EDM, and Rap. She liked to write short stories, reading, on-line shopping, watching You-Tube Videos & favorite TV shows. She was very artistic, drawing & painting, and knew how to do beadwork. She loved to dance, Shuffling & Jingle Dress style.

 Shandiin was a free-spirit who dared to be different with a kind loving heart. She loved being outdoors and caring for her animals, especially cats. Shandiin was fearless in all she did, making new friends & spending time with her family. Most of all, she loved her twin Nadean that she would video chat with her everyday. She loved her more than anything, and looked forward to being that "Crazy Auntie" to her new nephew. Shandiin will be forever loved & in our hearts.

 Shandiin is survived by her loving family.
