Tyson Ryan Sherman-Littleghost, 38 of Fargo and Fort Totten, ND passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home.
Visitaton will be on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Seven Dolars Catholic Church, Fort Totten, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Seven Dolars Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Jerome’s Cemetery.
Tyson Ryan, was born on December 19, 1985 at Devils Lake ND the son of Rayone Sherman and Travis Littleghost. He was raised by his loving, angel grandma Rosemary “Bess” LittleWind and grandpa Vincent Raymond Sherman, Sally Cavanaugh and the late Walter Cavanaugh Sr., God parents Lisa M. Burdick and the late Merle WhiteTail and foster parent MaryLou Leppard.
Tyson attended St. Joseph’s Academy in Devils Lake and later earned his GED and was certified in carpentry at Quentin Burdick Job Corp in Minot ND. He lived and worked in the Fort Totten and Devils Lake area for Storm Construction. For the past year and a half he has called Fargo home.
Tyson loved to play basketball and when he wasn’t playing basketball he was watching basketball on TV. He especially enjoyed watching the Timberwolves and the Bulls.
Tyson had his share of struggles in this world, but he treasured each of his children, his mother, brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins with his whole heart. He loved you all and his many dear friends.
Tyson is survived by his mother Rayone “Cissy” Sherman; his children Rosemarie, RaeOnna, Dreymond, Jaleisha and Gideon Sherman, Siana Rae, and Adrianna; special niece Aleisha Sherman; brothers Gabriel Sherman and David Sherman Sr.; sister Felicia Sherman; grandma Cora Rose Sherman; uncles Joe Sherman and Mervel Sherman; many precious nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his children Rayshaun and Tyson Sherman Jr., father Travis Littleghost, grandparents Bess and Vincent Sherman, brother Lavern “Bundy” S. Littlewind-Sherman, grandmas Catherine, Vivian, Irene Littlewind and Stella Cavanaugh, grandpas John, Basil, Lawrence, and Ambrose Littlewind, Solomon Sherman.
Active Casket Bearers: Raphael Barragan, Gabriel Sherman, Davin “Boss” Sherman, John Knutson, Antoine Eback Jr. and Jaydean Alberts.

If we forgot to name anyone it wasn’t intentional. Tyson had many friends and he loved you all. Please forgive us as we do our best during this very sad time.
