Warren M. Walters

Warren M. Walters, 60 of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at CHI, St. Alexius, Devils Lake Hospital.

Funeral Services for Warren will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake with Pastor Dave Fix officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Graveside Services at St. Ann’s Cemetery, rural Fillmore, ND on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. 

Warren was born on February 7, 1959 at Rugby, ND son of William R. and Marion H. (Piatz) Walters. He grew up in Oberon, ND and attended Grafton State School from age 9 to 21.  He then lived and worked in the Devils Lake Community through the years.

Warren was a very happy and affectionate person that loved his family. He was a true Vikings fan and never gave up on them.  Warren enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and golfing.  He was willing to arm wrestle with most anyone. 

This sweet, kind gentle soul will be so greatly missed.

Warren’s loving family include his brother Ronald (Linda) Walters, Oberon, ND; sisters Gwen Miller, Baker, MT, Mary (Kevin) Haataja, Sleepy Eye, MN and Dorothy (Richard) Moen, Devils Lake; aunt Elizabeth Lund, Tioga, ND and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother William Walters and brothers Donald Walters and Jonathan Walters.
