Greg was born on April 14, 1960 in Devils Lake to Orrin and Shirley (Frahman) Greene. He attended school in Devils Lake at Prairie View and Central High School. At an early age, he started work for Randle’s Turkey Farm where he worked for many years. He worked for the Spirit Lake Housing Authority from 1985 to 2007 and the Spirit Lake Casino until the time of his death. Greg was a very good cook and enjoyed cooking for all family functions. He loved to barbeque and bake for his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and enjoyed teaching the younger generation his skills. He was a “jack of all trades” and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He never missed out on a chance to go 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, camping, helping the local rodeo clubs and spending time with family. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. When he was home he loved to watch cooking shows, the weather channel, Pawn Stars, and American Pickers. Greg is survived by his father and step-mother, Orrin and Jan Greene; daughters, Kirstin Greene Cavanaugh, Jessica Hjelden, Connie Charboneau; sons, Zach Alberts and Frank Charboneau; grandchildren, Jordan Everett and Kailar Jacobson, Mason Hjelden, Peter and Joe Charboneau; sisters, Carolyn (Chris) Nelson, Mary (Chuck) Trottier, Priscilla Fineday and Nancy (Jerry) Robertson; brother, Ryan Schloss; grandmother, Marvelin Frahman; Uncles, Warren Jimmy Greene, Larry (Torchy) Greene, and Frank (Joyce) Greene; aunt, Adele Cerolle; Godchildren, Frank Jason Greene, Remi Yankton and Jersey Cavanaugh; Special Friend Jeannie Charboneau; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
